Terms of Service

TLDR: Bus & Go is free to use, has no ads, and needs no account. An optional Pro subscription unlocks extra features and can be cancelled anytime from your App Store or Google Play account. Arrival times come from OASA's public data and are provided as-is, so always allow a little extra time for your trip.

Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading or using Bus & Go ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The Service

Bus & Go shows public transport information for Athens, including lines, stops, routes, live vehicle positions and estimated arrival times. The core app is free to use, contains no ads and does not require you to create an account. Additional features are available through an optional paid subscription ("Bus & Go Pro").

Bus & Go Pro

  • Billing: Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase, and prices are shown in the app before you subscribe.
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
  • Free trials: If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled by them under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
  • Changes: We may change Pro prices or the features included in Pro. Price changes apply from your next billing period, and the store will notify you where required.
  • Restoring purchases: Pro is tied to your App Store or Google Play account, not to a Bus & Go account. You can restore it on a new device signed in to the same store account using the restore option in the app.

Data Accuracy

Transit data, including live positions and arrival predictions, is provided by OASA's public telematics service. We do our best to display it accurately, but we do not control the source data and cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate or available at all times. Delays, cancellations, route changes or service outages may not be reflected in the app.

Please use the information in Bus & Go as a guide only and plan your trips with some margin.

No Affiliation

Bus & Go is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OASA, OSY or any other public transport authority.

Acceptable Use

When using the app, you agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the app or the services it relies on.
  • Scrape, copy or redistribute the app's data or content in bulk by automated means.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

Intellectual Property

The Bus & Go name, logo, design and app content are owned by their creator. These terms do not grant you any right to use them beyond normal use of the app. Transit data remains the property of its respective providers.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services such as map providers and the App Store or Google Play. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including missed connections or reliance on inaccurate arrival information.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date, and continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.

Additional Terms for Apple Devices

If you downloaded Bus & Go from the Apple App Store, the following terms also apply. If they conflict with anything else in these terms, these take priority for the iOS app.

  • Agreement: These terms are between you and LagBug ("we"), not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • License: You receive a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app may also be used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  • Maintenance and support: We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the app.
  • Warranty: We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.
  • Product claims: We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
  • Intellectual property: If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • Legal compliance: You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party terms: You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app, such as your mobile data service agreement.
  • Third-party beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece.
